Audit Methodology for System Reviews
TITAN uses a Systems Audit methodology called FOCUS. The methodology is a unique TITAN tool developed using expertise and experience gained over the past 10 years of Oracle Hyperion application implementation. It is our belief that a successful systems audit requires a defined, fact-based and repeatable process. Our FOCUS process was developed for this purpose.
FOCUS represents:
Enterprise Retrieve has:
- Functionality: Identify and define what the system is designed to deliver. Assess the systems actual deliverables against the design.
- Operability: Measure performance criteria against best-in-class application implementations.
- Collection: Identify all sources of data collection. Evaluate data mapping logic.
- Usability: Evaluate system ease-of-use characteristics.
- Schema: Evaluate how the system fits together. Look for opportunities to optimize build.
The deliverable from our FOCUS process is a written evaluation document highlighting areas of improvement. We will prioritize changes by impact of change and define the cost/benefit ratio. We will also capture both pros and cons of making the change. Finally, we will make recommendations on whether or not the change is necessary or optional. See sample report in Appendix C.
TITAN understands the issues Financial systems users face, and also the underlying application technology. This helps us communicate effectively with the entire team and help you ensure a successful application deployment.
